David Boetcher

David Boetcher is a 27-year veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves and Wisconsin National Guard who served in the Gulf War and the Iraq War. He has served on the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs Board, as chair of the Wisconsin Democratic Party Veterans Caucus, and as Wisconsin chair for the DNC Council for Veterans and Military Families. A UW-Madison alumnus, he worked for more than 30 years as a union construction electrician, and worked as a Wisconsin state lobbyist for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He has also served for nine years on the Waunakee Community School District Board.
