Jud Lounsbury is a political writer based in Wisconsin. He's a columnist for The Progressive magazine and his work has appeared in a variety of other publications, including Newsweek, the Washington Post and the L.A. Times. He's previously served as a press secretary for several organizations and politicians, including U.S. Senators Tom Harkin and Russ Feingold and Vice President Al Gore. Jud lives with his wife and children on a small farm south of Madison where he raises beef cattle and grows alfalfa hay.
