Kim Lamoreaux has lived in Wisconsin for 20 years and was immersed in state-wide news coverage when CWD was discovered and flourishing in the deer herd. Since then, she has been writing news about state and local government and a host of news-worthy topics in Dane and Sauk counties.She is an Ohio native where she covered crime and courts in Crawford County. She is the recipient of the 1999 Thompson National Crystal Award, a two-time recipient of the Wisconsin Newspapers Association Freedom of Information Act Award among other first place awards from the WNA and from the Ohio Associated Press Foundation.
